Jean-Gaspard P\u00e1len\u00ed\u010dek<\/strong> (1978), poet, translator,
\nexhibition curator and composer. In 1997-2001, he has
\nacted in the orfeus Theatre in Prague. In 2004-2017, he was
\nthe artistic director of the Czech Centre in Paris. Since
\n2017, he is a freelance writer and art curator active mainly
\nbetween Prague, Paris and Tokyo. He is the author of
\nseveral poetry collections, most recently Mater speciosa
\n(2022), the novel The Birches (2008), the theatre play
\nBalzac\u2019s Household (2009) or the poetic diary One
\nSentence (2013).
\nV\u00e1clav \u0160lajch<\/strong> (1980), comic author and illustrator, head of
\nthe Media Illustration Studio at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty
\nof Design and Art of the University of West Bohemia in
\nPze\u0148. He belongs to the so called Generation 0 of Czech
\ncomics, along with creators such as Ji\u0159\u00ed Grus, ToyBox or
\nVladim\u00edr 518. In 2010 and 2022, he received the prestigious
\nMuriel comic book award in the Czech Republic. He
\ncollaborated with director Jan Sv\u011br\u00e1k on several projects: he
\nis the author of the graphic version of the fairy tale Three
\nBrothers (2014). His most recent significant work is the
